The Body Carries

Project type

Multi Sensory - Photography, Makeup Design, Fashion Design, AR Augmentation, Sound Design

Date

July 2025

Location

Southampton, UK

The Body Carries is a multi-sensory exploration of how the body holds emotion — and how we might release it.

Reimagining Dante’s Inferno through the lens of the chakra system, this project invites you to journey inward. Each of the seven levels represents a different emotional state, reinterpreted not as sins to be punished but as energies to be witnessed, felt, and moved through. Through photography, augmented reality (AR), and sound design using Solfeggio frequencies, this work becomes a space for healing, reflection, and reconnection with the self.

This is not a descent into Hell.
This is a return to your body.
