INKED is an independent feature film directed by Evan Preston and produced by Presto Films. The film was shot locally in Southampton over the course of approximately one month, involving an extended shoot schedule and a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

I worked on INKED as Makeup Department Head, overseeing the design, development, and execution of all makeup looks throughout the film. This role involved creating the overall visual direction for makeup in response to character, narrative, and tone, as well as ensuring continuity and consistency across the full shooting period.

My responsibilities included developing original makeup designs, problem-solving practical and logistical challenges on set, and adapting looks in response to lighting, camera requirements, and performance needs. I worked closely with the director and wider production team to ensure that makeup supported the storytelling rather than functioning as a separate visual element.

In addition to design work, I was actively involved on set throughout filming, applying and maintaining makeup during shoots and supporting cast and crew across long production days. This required strong time management, communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining creative and technical standards.

INKED represents a significant long-form film project within my portfolio, demonstrating experience in department leadership, collaborative filmmaking, and sustained creative responsibility across a full feature-length production.
