Cracked Doll

This conceptual makeup look was created in collaboration with Mia Parsons, exploring the fragile beauty of a broken porcelain doll. We used hand-painted eggshell fragments applied directly to the skin to create a realistic cracked effect, enhanced with subtle airbrushing to blend and contour the textures seamlessly.

The final look was shot in an infinity cove studio with support from our university tutors. The clean, controlled setting allowed the makeup to stand out, highlighting the contrast between delicate detail and eerie stillness. The result was a striking visual piece that balanced softness with distortion — a quiet yet unsettling commentary on beauty and fragility.
